    Question Live Rock Info

    is it better to buy uncured rock to cycle my tank with?


    or buy cured live rock to cycle tank with?

    not too sure, but I'd go with cured, as uncured will cure in your tank. and this will cause spikes in nitrates and others.

    Fisherman,

    The best thing is to used Uncrued..

    Liv, This is what you would want to do with a new setup.. To use uncured live rock so that you can naturally cyle a new system..

    The best thing to do is to be at the LFS, when there shipments comes in and just pick from there box.. This will give you rock with enough Dieoff to cycle atank..
