    Volitian,
Possible that your lionfish has Ich? Do you see spots anywhere else? Fins? Body? I don't know what else it could be. And as far as I know you should only treat fish for these diseases. Good Luck.

I'm no expert, but my maroon clownfish had cloudy eyes, and about 3 days later broke out in Ich I hope it's not the case with your lionfish, but I'd be tempted to quarintine him... I fed my clown lots of crushed garlic (kept his appetite up, and it's supposed to help with Ich.) I had him in quarintine for a month. Good luck..
I've noticed that raising kids & fish are similar: Patience & dedication really pays off!

I really think you need to treat him one way or another. Spots only mean very few things, and none of them being good. It could be possible that yu are only seeing spots on his eyes cause like you said he has "normal" spot. Some of those spots may not be normal. Something isn't right, and if left untreated it may turn into a BIG problem.

My Flag Tail tang had foggy eyes at the peak of his Cryptocaryon infection (commonly referred to as ICH) and that's likely what your lion fish has. If however this white spot is "only" in the center of the eye / eyes it could be a Bacterial eye infection. I would treat this fish for ICH first as this is far more common. Check out this link for further information on this condition. http://www.aquariacanada.com/library...ow%20Ich.shtml
