    Tank drilling

    1) Is it easier to drill an glass tank or an acrylic one or is it a 'wash'?

    2) Where do you buy the bulkheads for drilled holes? A standard hardware store or an aquarium shop?

    Thanks
    Nick

As a suggestion, get the bulkhead first, then take it to be drilled. Not all bulkheads are alike.

I stopped at Rona on the way home to look at the parts suggetsed in drezart's message. Could find the right size/shape PVC and the staff told me they didn't know what a gasket was. Oh well.

Is there anywhere in the Orleans area which people would trust to drill glass?

I've had 3 tanks drilled at M&T and CENTENNIAL and there both good. I liked M&T just a tad better for there price.

Is it feasible at all to drill a half-empty running tank?
