    Lights

Ok what do you think is the best way to go in lighting?I'm ordering a 6 foot tank this weekend.here is my question.I'm only going with VHO.I was thinking about buying 2 36 inch canopies with 4- 95 watt bulbs in both.Or do you think it would be better to buy a 72 inch canopy with 4 bulbs?

    Thanks

I would go with the two canopies, IMO have you checked out bulb costs are the the same?

No never checked on bulb prices, but i think it would be cheaper on 36 inch bulbs to ship than 72 inch. Also i think i will just go with soft corals. This tank won't be drilled, and won't have a sump.

For such a large tank, if you don't go with a sump, there are limited selection of hang-on-the-back skimmers that can properly filter your water. Just something for you to consider.

If the authors of "Finding Nemo" knew anything about Clownfishes, Marlin would turn into a female and Nemo would become her new husband.

    Cool

GOSUV has a real good point there. If your just considering a few softies and fish then you could be okay. Most softies don't need pristine water but you could run into algea probs.

Yes I realize the algea problem, but i will just run 2 skimmers.I have 2 Excalibur hang on skimmers now.One on my 90 and one on my 75.Those tanks will be taken down. Also i have over 300#'s of LR,so i think i should be ok on the filter situation,I hope

    Thanks,
