Second Hand Aquarium - had Reptiles

    Hi,

I've found a 2nd hand aquarium for sale (70gal) that currently holds repltiles (probably snake or iguana).. if properly cleaned, would this be suitable for a salt water tank ?

Sure but shop around and look at options....many upgrade their first aquariums.  look to see if you can get it drilled for a corner overflow or overflow box.  you may want this.  If the price of the tank is good, get it, test it for leaks, and have it drilled by someone.  No reason that because it had reptiles, it wouldn't work with a good cleaning.  Just watch for leaks.  Good Luck
The only thing two reef keepers will agree on, is what the third reef keeper is doing wrong!
