    I think that means a DKH of 6.2 (11 drops *10 = 110 *.056 = 6.2

Hi Fisherman answer to your question is 1 drop is equal to 17.9 ppm KH, and this is with the Hagen test kit. If you want with dKH 1 drop is equal to 1 dKH, not very accurate, when I was testing with it I had a reading of 14dKH and with salifert it is at 11dKH. I have the kit if you want it.

you say you have 11 drops that would be 11dKH so you should be o.k.

Fisherman, I just changed from a Hagen kit to a Sailfert. I'm sure I'm right with my conversion in the above post because I wrote the Hagen conervsion numbers in my diary. If I am correct or DKH reading is a little low. It isn't bad I think Hagen's recommended optimum reading is 13.5 drops. I would try to raise your alk slightly in the coming weeks.

Dissolve 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda in some freshwater and slowly pour it in. Check your alk again after 2 hours and after 24 hours to see what level of alk you are on.

Repeat every 24 hours to reach the desired level.
