    Question info..

i have a 46 gal bow front.. and was wondering is there away to set it up as saltwater and add to it over time.. right now i have 2 AC filters on it.. single strip light.. i want just live rock and gobies..

is this possible.. with a light upgrade in future and skimmer and such? but in stages..

    thanks all..

go for it, its done all the time, but I'd sell everything you have and buy that 90g that Ivan has in his basement! sweet tank with a sump sitting right beside it. Go for it!!!!!!

Just start with a live rock and fish only and you'll get hooked and build on it from there. You can start with a little live rock, sand bed or substrate, and what youhave. I would then save up for more rock and a good skimmer. After that the sky is the limit....
The only thing two reef keepers will agree on, is what the third reef keeper is doing wrong!
