    Question light green powder algae on glass?

    my 4 month old nano started having light green powder algae on glass.. is this just a phase the tank goes threw?

    cause my nitrates are 10ppm..
    also im just starting my hair algae stage.. cyno left now hair algae..

    just wondering..

    thanks...

    i have to clean glass everyday? is that normal?

    its totally normal.. thats why they sell those magnets

    so what happens when you go away on vaction lol... you come back to a completely cover tank of algae?

    yup.. or get someone to scrub..
    or get more snails... the astreas do a good job.. but very slowly.. so get lots...

    u mean u did'nt have some before ??
    if thats the case margaritas are fast cleaners... but sloppy job, astreas clean good.. but super slow.. nerith and cerith are good cleaners.. but for glass.. go for astreas or turbo.

    I have 8-10 snails..
    already.. but they hang out on rocks and powerheads lol..

    i have 15 hermits 8-10 snails.. plus about 6-8 tiny snails..

    Yes..

    i have 2 powerheads.. each near back corner facing forward.. blowing on glass?

    is that bad?
