Sometimes intense light can do that. Have you changed their position?

My tank is a 25gallom eclipse and my candy cane are right at the top near the light source. Any suggestions as to where I can move them.

strong light and water flow will make a candy cane close. move it to the bottom. if it starts loosing pigment, slowly start moving it up. eventually you should be able to get it back to the top.all types of open brains, candycane, cynarina need to be slowly aclimated to bright light
