    blenny maybe?

Is there a blenny that would be compatible with a maroon clown? I don't have a huge algae problem (my emerald crab took care of that), so I'm looking for a blenny that would be able to survive in a non-algae filled tank with a (so-far) non-aggressive clown. I decided not to impulsively buy the adorably cute scooter at my lfs (good idea, as my tank isn't mature enough yet). I'll be waiting a few morw weeks to add another fish, but would like a blenny to be on my list. Any suggestions? Thanks,
    Sara

PS: how do you quarantine a fish that is dependent on bottom feeding?

I think that in a couple of months that a scooter would be okay. To quarantine a fish that will eats from the bottom, as long as it is healhy it will be fine for the time needed.

I used to have a Bicolor Blenny that all the food I offered the other fish. It also ate the algae that grew on the glass and the slight film algae that was sometimes on the rockwork, but it got most of it's food when I fed the tank.

Would the Bicolor Blenny get to big for a 25gal tank? I have seen a couple, and they looked a little aggresive.

An even better fish for your tank instead of a blenny would be a neon goby they will clean your maroon and he/she wont act aggressivly towards them. You can also do a midas blenny. fish leave them alone. they eat off the bottom and up in the water column. they say they are the best for reef tanks. they have quite the personality too.

O i forgot to say a 25 gallon is way to small for a maroon it will have to be the only fish you put in there other than a blenny and some gobies.
