    free crown conch

If anyone is interested in what Dr Ron has described as "a great species only tank pet", you're welcome to it.

I have one crown conch, who is carnivorous, and therefore. slowly eating through all my snails. It is a beautiful snail, however, and it someone has a predator tank, or a puffer tank, it would make a great addition.

    pm me if interested.

Aside from other snails, what else does it eat & how big does it get?

Maximum 5 inches. It eats snails, crabs, mollusks, but is also a scavenger and therefore will eat most dead thing, including fish.

    conch

    Dan

It was about 2.5 inches long (give or take; I'm always generous with length) It didn't do much cleaning at all. Right after we got it, it burrowed into the sand - probably smelled nassarius snails, which really sucks, as they are a lot harder to find.

Here are some photos (previously posted, but here goes) The thing wrapped in its tight grip is my snail. Bastage!!!
