What is your favorite kind of Live Rocks?

    Hi,

I got 50 lbs of base rocks from Ivan..(thank you again)

I think they look really good...Nothing round as a softball.

My next step is: Let's go for the Live Rocks!!! $$$

My problem is....I don't know wich one to go with.

What kind of rock do you suggest me ... (for about 50 lbs)

    - Marshalls
    - Tonga deep water
    - Tonga branch (i feel for this one)
    - Fiji
    - Other I don't know...

    All sugestions are welcome...

    If possible, include pictures...

    Thank you

i love the tonga branch as it has more of an open structure which is good for water flow within the rockwork, and it also has tons of spots to place corals in (sort of holds them if you place them between the branches)

I personal like the fiji, manly because of it's price and availiablity, and you never really know what kind of shape and/or size you'll get until you actually get it. Plus I find it easy to aquascape.

Yout get more rock for your buck with fiji as it is more porous. Marshall then kaleini come next. Tonga rock is among the most dense rock out there, so it is quite expensive for the amount you end up getting.
