    Blood Shrimp feeding

    Hi,

I just started my tank and I have 50lbs of live rock, 5 snails and 2 Blood Shrimps.

One of the shrimp molted last weekend! :-D

Ok my question is related to feeding. I have nothing else in my tank for now so what should I feed them and how?

    Thanks
    Eric

I'd feed a half teaspoon of pellets or flakes every day. This will help your denitrifying bacteria to build up as well as feed your blood shrimp and any critters on your live rock.

    Any particular pellets?
As for flakes I was under the impression that they would not sink where the shrimps hang out...

Flakes sink eventually but pellets are much better. I really like "Marine Complete Food, slow sinking morsels" by Nutrafin Max. The pieces are very small and odd shaped. I feed it to my quarantine tank and to my refugium.
