I've got no experience, but Ive done some research because I was thinking of one for my refugium. In many ways they are ideal for captivity because they don;t need a big tank, but they should probably be kept by themselves because they can eat fish larger than them, even lionfish. I heard the biggest problem is feeding. At first you might have to dangle food in front of them to get them to eat. You might be able to train them to eat dead food, but this is not garanteed. there is a good article in in the 2003 issue of marine fish and reef usa.

You can check grimreefers.com it's a board dedicated to predetor species tanks. They've got mantis shrimp, cuttle fish, frogfish .... nice videos too! I really think frogfish are awsome and on those boards they have some videos of a frogfish eating ... it's really cool to see.

What colour is your frogfish? I've seen some pics of pretty cool ones.
