    Need cyano info in french

    Hi,

I'm hoping to get some help from French speaking members here. I'm looking for a good write-up about cyanobacteria and how to fix water quality issues, but written in French. I'm trying to google it but am coming up with only english sites. Are there any good French reef sites and what terms should I be searching for?

    Merci!!
    thanks.

You can try looking at the www.reefsolution.com forums, they are a store located in Laval near Montreal I think, they have a bilangual forum which 95% of it is french advice which may be of some help...

Or use a translation tool to translate the article.

cool. thanks. I'm just looking up some info for my non-Internet aware father who would prefer to read things in French.

In French, is it still called cyanobacteria?
    thanks.

cool. I don't have any red slime. But apparently my dad is starting to pull out what little hair he has left because of the cyano. I haven't seen it yet, but I'm heading to Montreal this weekend so I'll see how bad it is. I've printed some stuff out for him so he doesn't think I'm talking nonesense. He's a bit "old school" when it comes to his fishies...I don't agree with some of his husbandry practices, but I'm slowly making an impact by explaining stuff I'm learning (I've only been keeping a tank for 1 year, my dad's been doing this for years)
    thanks.
