    adding refugium to sump?

I have a 55g for a sump i was looking to add a refugium to it. The sump has crushed coral,Aragamax Select and live rock. Was thinking of adding lights and plants. here's some pic's of sump.

You already are running a refugium! The liverock and sand are a place where amphipods and copepods will be able to multiply freely without fear of predation.

If you add any Macro Algae, you would need a way to control the amount of water flowing into the refugium at one time. A refugium tends to have slow water movement to let the algae clean use up the nutrients in it better.
