    Cleaning aquarium glass

    Hey all,

I just put in my rock and sand in my tank a few days ago (woohoo!). Well I've realised that the inside of the glass got pretty dirty from me trying to get the right aquasaping and I was wondering what's a good way to clean it? Will one of the magnet cleaners work or is that just for algea?

    Thanks,

    Steph

    Cool

use the magnet but just go slow and don't pick up any sand when near the bottom.

Myself I usually just wipe that light dust off the glass with my hand. I find that it can sometimes be a little gritty and I prefer to tank no chances when it comes to the front pane. Johnny's tank is way to deep for that so he MUST use the magnet cleaner ...

I use a soft bristle tooth brush on my 10 gallon, It works awesome, but it takes a little time. The tank is also acrylic and the tooth brush does not leave any scratches.

What ever you use make sure there are no chunks (rocks, crushed coral) between it and the glass that might scratch up the view.
