    lobsters reef safe???

    are lobsters good or bad for a reef tank. I saw a pink one at big als. What do they eat?

    ABahn used to have one in his 180... if I'm not mistaken it grew real big and scary.... he did get rid of it...

    According to Calfo's Reef Invertebrates book, this genus is "a calculated risk" in a reef tank. Fishes may be pursued and corals may be disturbed or dislodged. I think Xerces has one though and it has never been a problem that I am aware of.
