please note that should have read "That tank" not "Thank Tank" i guess when you get into this hobby, you just start ending all you words with -ank.
as far as the humidity, montreal may be humid in the summer, but in the winter it is too cold to be humid. the humidity in the air will automatically condense on and cold object. which means basically that all the windows in your house (which will be cold from the outside) will condense any humidity on the inside. As far as the summer, a good de-humidifier and Air conditioner should be able to keep the humidity down. otherwise you can just set you house up as a SPA with a huge steam-room with an aquarium in the center (perhaps you can sell admission tickets to help pay for your tank).

    Alhra,
Sorry, but I live here in Mtl. all my life and let me tell you... winter is extremly humid!!! You can dress as warm as you like, but that damp chill will cut right through even 10 layers of clothing to make you shiver. Montreal is an island that is surrounded by water that doesn't completely freeze in certain areas and all this dampness comes from that.

Both ottawa and montreal sit in a valley and the air just kinda sits there some times. We get that old damp chilly feeling in the winter. which we conteract with good old CANADIAN BEER!!!!!!

    ALRHA,

I know exactly what you mean about wives, and shopping.
I guess we all are in the same boat, huh?

I am lucky though. She loves this as much as me.

    he he, you got it.
the trick is convincing her that its for HER to make HER living room more beautiful.
We went snorkeling on our honeymoon and she was like "oh, its so beautiful" i quickly replied "you like it? well then baby, i will put it in your living room!"

ooooooh - have fun. Scuba is also a lot of fun, you should try it if you never have (my wife wasnt comfortable with it though)
you see everything in a whole different light when you understand the sea life as much as we do.
