    Littleboy,
The best place for pumps is online. Cheaper this way and is where I've bought mine. A sump is also good to do your water changes in instead of the main tank and to do all your testing from. Basically, the idea is to leave the main tank alone as much as possible and not always be fiddling around in it which will just stress out the inhabitants. When you do all your work through your sump, the tank stays undisturbed. I would recommend a sump too for all the reasons mentioned.

    Toutouchiegoochie...
    Yup, I agree 1000000%...

    Littleboyblue16,
I recommend a Mag9.5 in your sump, hooked up to a SCWD unit on it's way back so that you have an alternating current.

This way, you'll have random current in your tank, AND no powerheads!
Ask IJO for prices on these 2 things. You'll see it's not too harsh, and a great setup for the price.
Also, Mag pumps are known for reliability, and flexability (can run submerged, or inline)

    Boyblue...

Ask IJO for pricing on those things. He's the moderator of this board, which is also his storefront. You'll be happy to know that he's very competitive.

As for the lighting. That will do for some mushrooms maybe. But not much else.

What kind of tank are you going for? Reef or fish-only?
