    Fine silt on surface

    Hello,

just as the topic reads. I have a fine silt or dust on the surface of the tank water. The tank has been ste up for over 7 months now, so doubt it is caused by the sand bottom. I've never really noticed it before. Any ideas what my be causing it?
    Cheers,

if you have an overflow, check to see if the slits are clogged and clean if necesary. the scum may be because it sits above the slits. I had that,

    Unfortunately, no overflow.

I will definitely reposition the powerheads so that I get alittle more flow at the surface.

    Thanks
