    moving fish.

This weekend im going to be picking up a setup with my friend and moving the livestock and all..

im not worried about the liverock.. will wrap them in newspaper and soak them..

the fish, shrimp, hermits/snails worry me lol..

it about a 2 hour drive..

any suggestions on safe transportation of these beautiful creatures?

All i ever did is put the live rock in buckets along with the livestock. Just keep all the water from the setup. 2 hours is fine.

didn't you just ask me this last night? As I mentioned 2 hours is nothing. put them in bags and keep them warm. I leave stuff at work all afternoon when I go to AC during my lunch breaks. Don't trust me:

I moved a setup a couple of years back - 5 hour drive. Everything but one fish made it. They were individually bagged with no supplemental oxygen other than what got trapped in the bag. If I was to do it again, I would move the fish to a holding tank or bucket with aeration and bag them at the very end. 2 hours shouldn't be a big deal though.
