    removing LTA from tank.

    I friend just purchased a new setup that has a LTA in it which i want to remove and put into my bigger/better lite reef tank.. can you all give me some advice on how to remove the anemone lol.. i don't want any rocks from this set up..

    use your hands,clip ypur finger nails, gentle roll away the LTA's food from whatever its attached to. easy stuff just take your time.

    ok.. thanks Johnny... so i just roll the bottom of his foot till he falls off rock?

    then bag him and acclimitize him?

    yep, just take your ephipen for the stings because they might kill you.

    ok lol. i know what a sting is my torch coral (the green one) stung me while scrapping the back glass.. i tried and touch the coral and got no sting but if the tips brush up against me OWWWWWEEEE it stings lol..

    hunhh?? you got stung by a Torch?? you must be very sensitive because I've never ever felt anything from any LPS.

    I'm very sensitive also to the sting of my hammer coral.... havent tried the LTA' s sting... didnt want to chance it after the burn from the hammer lol... better wear gloves just to be on the safe side

    only happens it the tips rub me other wise not at all.. also it only happens around feeding time.. i got a few little bumps on my hands.. never got any from hammer or Froggy..
