    Coral Id's

    I got some sps from people but never found out what their proper names were or how they are to be kept. If you know please post.

    ??? those are corals I gave ya. Did you forget already:
    MONTIPORA DIGITATA are the green and orange one.
    STYLOPORA.[maybe? toutouche knows better] is the pink one with green sheen to it.
    both like lots of light and lots of flow just like most SPS.
    the MONTI's can do well mid or high up in the tank.

    Yes I do forget VERY fast and first 2 pics are the ones you traded with me, last one is from Bvoss. I know my ligting isnt the best but they should be ok for a few months under pc's(i hope). 4 MJ 1200 should be enough flow, correct? Thanks for the info Johnny, I wrote it down.

    the first one is the stylophora, it could also be poccilopora, bit I think Johnny is right- stylo..

    John is right,
    That first one is a stylo, but it won't do that well longterm under just PC's. With good lighting and good actinic supplementation, the polyps will have a green sheen to them while the body stays a burgandy color. Much nicer under the right lighting.
    The others are Montipora Digitata's, Will "survive" under lower lighting but will shine their best under good strong lighting!!
