    Ro/di

This may be a stupid question but do you have to plumb these units into a drain or just in the water line?

you do have to have a place for the waste water to run. I put this line into the washer when i want to fill a few jugs of water from the RO/DI.

I installed my RO unit just above my washer. These units waste a lot of water. 10:1 ratio waste to usable water.
