"THEY" say red eyes = evil (havent really found who "THEY" are yet though LOL )

If in doubt, put it in sump I say, especially if you didnt put him in the tank on purpose

I have read other "THEY" say that rounded claws = herbivors, pointed claws = carnivors but herbivors CAN eat corals.... just stick him in your sump :-P

Sorry but couldn't help chuckle at the fact that you are wearing such thick gloves to hold it... hehehe were you that scared of him? j/k

Can we fit one more tank? :P

I found out when I had my own hell crabs that there's 1000s of species of crabs, many unidentifed that look just like that.

The ones I had had a taste for leather corals as well as picking stuff off the rocks, and burrowing into the rocks.

I agree with putting him in the sump if you're in doubt. I won't give a crab the benifit of the doubt unless I added him to the tank.

    Cheers!

The pics work fine for me.

Pat, the crab is the same type you pulled from your work tank.

I didn't even see you drop it in KHOA's tank. Man, you were slick. :-D

If I were you, I'd "give it back" to Pat.

I'm sure he misses the fun he had with it in his tank.
