    Urgent Help, Please !!!

My new peppermint shrimp eaten by powerhead (Pro3).
It is stuck in the intake hole. The head is sticking out, tail is in.
What to do. How to take it out. It's still alive.

Shut the powerhead off and see if it can find it's way out. Unless it's injured..

    Good Luck

    It's out !!!
I took a pair of tweezers and pulled it out.
Now I have to figure out how to prevent this from happening again.
Any ideas?? The powerhead is Pro3 by Askoll (Italy).

Yes, the bracket has a screen on it, but suction cups don't work any more and locking lips are broken off.

I'm not using the bracket because of above mentioned reasons.

well, either get a new one or rig something up. because no screen equals death.

Try wrapping some Teflon tape around the intake opening enough to make a snug fit and then push on the screen afterwards. I have done this in the past and it works well because the intake suction helps it to stay in place as long as it is snug enough to not float off on it's own if the powerhead is turned off.
