decorate with fish nets, lobster traps and other east / west coast items and no one will notice.

Derik, why not just paint a ocean-side mural on the wall around the tank, turn on a few fans and see if you can charge a few homesick maritimers for a little bit of home.
PS. Miss you out in the Maritimes can't wait to see the new system

Since everyone else covered the jokes and digs (LOL) Hopefully this will help you.. I use fragrant humidity absorber packets you can buy at the grocery store.. They emit fragrance by absorbing humidty, not unlike those smoke odour eaters you can get..
It worked for me.. The GF even thought the house smelled NICE!

Another way to remove cycle smell is to open the garage door when your cycles engine is running.
On a more serious note I think the thing to do is air the place out and use some fabreeze on upholstered items and carpets.

Just breathe it in Derik...doesn't it smell like Fredericton? Hehehe...just a little reminder of where you just came from! Hi Julie, my kids miss your cats! Just so Derik doesn't think it's all about him, LOL!

Yeah, had the same issue here with the wife. :chatter: Hehe I kept telling her that it smelled like the beach in Cavendish, PEI. A place she really likes. Lucky for me it only took about a week before the smell disappeared. Hehehe
