    Another common size is 48 X 24 X 24 = 120G. Weight should be similar to the 125G on the original list.

    is that weight with just water? Or is that a general guidline including the average Live rock and substrate?

    Yeah, that sounds about right. Saltwater is about 8-10 lbs per gallon.

    PLUS weight of your live rock...
    PLUS the weight of your sand bed...

    Just make darn sure your floor is properly supported where you want to put your tank!!! LOLOL

    I figured out that the weight of just the glass in my 125 is ~200 lbs!
