    Clown & coral

My wife wants a clown fish and an anemone!
I was told to forget about an anemone in my 20g.
What coral would be a good substitue (something the clown fish will go to)? FrogSpawn?
P.S. I'm french so I never make any typos......they are actual mistakes :sorry:
    I'm not in a rush.....but I am on a budget! :bigcry:

Any of the euphyllia sp. are good choices for clowns and Xenia is too.

By your lighting I think you would be fine with those or others as well

The problem is, your clown might not host *anything* so buy a coral you like first, then see if the clown takes to it

My maroons wouldn't touch the frogspawns (I have two), nor the anchor coral. It jumped into the BTA once I put that in the tank!

I had a small carpet anemone successfully in a 20G, with pink and orange skunk clowns.

they were Very Very trentative to the anemone, the sue to 'suckle' the tenticles. and constantly clean it.

problem is that the carpet can easily grow out of a 20 gal, and it is easy to lose fish in a tank that size.
