    White pods

    Under some of my rocks ther are a bunck of white pods they look like the ends of Q tips does anybody know what the could be?

    they are just sponges. filter feeders that grow in low flow areas of your tank. They are common in new tanks and in mine lol

    Q-tip sponges.... I had a bunch of them in the first few months of my tank.. they grew in low-flow areas... some of them even got to about 1" long! harmless filter feeders... I picked a bunch off.. but now my tank is 6 months old and they have dissapeared on their own.
