    Caribesea really fine aragonite substrate

Hi, I bought some substrate for my tank. It's the really fine aragonite, my pump so far is maxi jet 600. Is everything going to be blowing around my tank?

    Thanks,
    Julie

If you can direct the current of the power head somewhat upward so it is not contacting the sand you will be OK. Once the sand is alive with critters and bacteria it will be less of an issue. Power head flow should be the most vigorous across the top 1/3 of the tanks height in any case. the fish will love it and nothing will be subjected to the powerful one direction flow of the power head.
