ok lighting ppl this ones for you

ok folks, im settign up my 28 gal bowfront in january hopefully, and am now thinking of going with T5 lighting. The tank is only 24 inches wide, would 4 bulbs be enough or should i go with 6? what combination of bulbs? also what ballast shoudl i use to run them woudl prefer something that could run them atleast at 2 different intervals (probably will require a second ballast) for dawn dusk effect. So what ballast should i be looking at and how many bulbs

    Thanks
    Craig

    hmmm, 2 x WORKHORSE 5
    2X T5 ACTINICS
    2X T5 12K.

I think 4 should be plenty for that tank. I'm just guessing with the setup as I don't use them and maybe someone else could chime in.

With 2 ballasts.. you can always add more if you think its not enough but I think you'll be happy with 4 lamps.

don't worry about the wattage, its a horrible indicator of how much light u need.
    LUMENS people LUMENS

Anyway, best figure out where you're gonna get WH5 first but i think you'll be set with 4 lamps
