    Seeding a tank

    OK,

So once I get everything up and running I'll need to cycle the tank. What do people use to seed the tank to speed up the bacteria growth?

    Cheers

Some of the "stuff" on the liverock will die during tranfer, this will start your cycle and if the rock is really good it'll take care of itself. Contact IJO about buying some quality rock and dont bother with Big Al's rock, its a waste of $$$.

You could throw in a little peise of shrimp or something to start the cycle too. When the shrimp is gone you're cycle is probably complete The other trick is to add some damsels, but I find that cruel when you think about the pour fish and what he has to live in.

What doesn't kill them makes them stronger.

    The little buggers always survive.
