What do I need to do?

What do I need to do to keep live rock and sand? I have seen a great deal but I'm not setting up my tank until I move in March. If I get the stuff what is the minimum I need to keep it good for 4 months?

    Thanks,
    Adam

Not much, something to keep it submerged in, a powerhead for some water circulation and a heater to keep the temp around 76/78F. You might add a flourescant light if you want but I don't think its necessary. I had some for 6 months in a rubbermaid trash can with just a powerhead and it turned out fine. Don't worry about corraline algea, once your tank is set up it come back on its own.

don't forget to top off the rubbermaid with water now and then so the salinity doesn't get too high, with no fish i imagine it would be easy to forget about it.
