I don't know if it comes this far north. I was in New Hampshire in July and picked up a bunch and can get a sku# if you want to see if they can get it in from the states.

I guess they've never brought it towards Halifax. Does somebody else around here have it?

Mom Rules actually got her sand from the shore. It's just as fine and white as southdown but it's not calcium based. But she also uses natural seawater and her calcium is like 400 something.

the stuff we got from home depot in new hampshire was actually called tropical play sand. same stuff, different name. they have sand here called play sand but it is silica based. i don't know of anywhere around here to get it. like aven said, we can get you the sku #, maybe they can special order it for you. just don't tell them it's for an aquarium. the same company that sells the bagged aragonite sells the playsand, but for about $40 a bag difference, gave home depot a hard time about selling so much sand for the aquarium trade.

Sure, the sku would be good. I guess the worst they could say is no. I won't mention anything about the aquarium. Thanks
