    Red face I'm a dumb a**!

I was in the process of changing the RO filters in my Aqua-safe RO/DI unit. Anyway, I think when I put it together 8-9 months ago - I must have over tightened them. The plastic "wrench"(for lack of a better term) snapped when I was trying to remove the casings. Now I don't know how to get them off. They are really tight. Anyone else ever had this probelm? They are too big for a wrench. Finally, just to be sure - is it counterclock- wise to loosen and remove them? Any help would be appreciated - I need to replace the filters because my TDS readings are rising and I recently replaced the DI filter.

No not yet - I haven't found one of those strap wrenches Johnny Rock was talking about - and boy they sure are on there tight.

Something like this is nice but I like better the ones that has a seat belt type of strap, you hook on 1/2 in ratchet drive to in.But you should be fine with the other one..
