    Raising calcium for my reactor

I want to raise my calcium in my tank. My tank is at 410 and I want it around 425. can I use some left over Aragamight to help raise it, or will that not work. I know it's crappy stuff but want to use it up. Or should I just go by some calcium carbonate to get it up?

Use something like Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium so that it doesn't also affect your alkalinity.

Tang man. I was using that product but it did effect my Alk. I was dosing 5 tsp, maybe that is to much for one dose.

Wow, really? I've never had it affect my alk at all. I did several large doses as well...

It's never affected my alk either and I've used some mega doses in the past.
I don't think aragamight will really help all that much- but it wouldn't hurt to slap it in to use it up.
If you are running a calcium reactor, it won't really matter what calcium supplement you use to go from 410 to 425- the reactor will keep the balance with such a minor dose.
