    Halide Bulb Choice

I'm replacing my XM 20k's within the next week or so and I'm trying to decide which bulb to go with next.

I think I'm going to stay away from the 20k color because of the lack of par intensity.

I was thinking maybe the XM 10k's? Anyone have experience with them? I had Ushio 10k's a few years ago on a 90 gallon and I hated the color of them...found them far too yellow-white. I'm looking for a bulb that's more white-blue..know what I mean? :P

Anyone, feel free to toss your 2 cents in. Thx

Why is it called "cargo" when it goes by ship, and "shipment" when it goes by car?

    hehe that's ok!

Is it a long florescent bulb with 2 pins on each end?
Or is it a thick glass bulb with an oversized mogul socket on it.

It'a the long Floresent bulb but it's fat not the skinny Zoo-Med ones that TMP carries. And the Actinic is the same. They have the two pins on the end!

yeah, that's not a metal halide. Most 10k florescents looks the same, but with halide bulbs, the look can vary from company to company even though they both may call the bulb a 10k.
