    IMO If you are going to buy something to correct this issue go this route. Neatly cut the plastic brace out. Go to M&M glass or where ever you want and buy 2 pieces of GLASS to match your tanks glass thickness. have those pieces be about 2.5 inches wide x the inside length of your yanks front and back panes. Silicone them to the front and back pane just under the remaining plastic trim = DIY euro bracing.

    Nope... no Euro either.
    Just thick glass.
