    propagating cactus algae

I have a 72 gallon marine tank with a nice growth of cactus algae (Halimeda sp.). I have recently set up another tank and I want to switch some of the algae over to that tank.

How do I switch it over? Do I just break of a peace and stick in the other tank or is their more to it?
