    mysis or mysid?

    Are they not the same...one being the common name and the other the scientific name?

    This answer won't be overly helpful, but I beleive they are the same. I have hundreds of these in my refugium.

    yup...I remember seeing them. Very cool. Gotta find a way to hook one on those HOB fuge for my tank. Where did you get them shrimps? Were they already in your tank?

    They just come in on good quality rock. You probably had some, but with the yellow wrasse, you may not any more. If you get a fuge, you will end up with them.

    They are similar, however, mysis are a freshwater shrimp and mysids are a salt water shrimp.
