Food mixes that are good for your FISH!
HI Guys,
I was looking for some options based on food mixes for fish.
I am currently feeding a frozen Brine shrimp along with a marine complete food slow sinking morsels.
I would like to provide a bite more varity and also insure good healthy fish.

Cman, I use a blender mash mixture. I take fresh seafood (fillets, scallops, shrimp, clams, oysters - basically a good mix of what I can get at my local store) blend well in a blender with a little water. I then freeze this mash in a sandwich bag in the freezer (makes many bags, depending upon how much I put in). When it is time to feed the fish, I break off a chunk and put in the blender. Add a cup of RO water, 2 or 3 drops of Selcon, a piece of nori and blend well. This I pour into the tank and watch the fish and shrimps go after it.
I use fresh seafood to avoid preservatives, etc. and I will use frozen if no additional colouring/preservatives are listed on the ingredients.
I have complete control over how much to feed and what size the particles are.
