i have never seen this stuff live Jagger.
only the frozen kind.. i guess you could always ask IJO or reefcrew and see if anyone of them could order it in.
but i'm wondering whats the chance of survival.. the cost in rasing those.. etc.. let me know if you do get some in.. it would be interesting to see how fish react the live stuff.

moving.. so temporarily out of SW :b8:
planning next tank, possibly 60x30x20 on 2x plasma.

Some LFS carry them, but they're pretty pricey because of shipping and all. I'm not sure that raising your own is going to be practical...

I have them breeding in my tank and refugium. I don't know where they came from, I've just always had them. Live rock maybe? They're in the thousands. I don't want to get into trying to catch them or shipping but if you find someone local with some in their tank it wouldn't take many to get them started. They are serious carnivores and LOVE brine shrimp. Especially the live just hatched babies. I would think you'd need a refugium to keep them breeding long term.

Good to know Susan! I'd like to keep a supply for the seahorses.

Yeah, definitely an amphipod. Not sure what the other critter is, maybe a stomatella snail? Does it have any shell at all, even a small on in the middle?
