    Cool

    caulerpra is not good to use in a refugium for a reef tank. especially if you have SPS. just some info.

    I use it.......Why is it no good in an SPS reef tank?

    danger for the caleurpa to crash suddenly or it sould go sexual and release a ton of polution... It never happened to me but it is what Ihave read at few places

    it has also been reported that it releases some kind of chemical that will inhibit SPS growth.

    When it turns white, remove it.

    Some say they can control it by pruning it, others by placing in fuge with 24/7 lighting. Grape is much more efficient in nutrient export than say cheatomorpha but if it does go asexual you'll need to remove/skim like mad and do a big water change.

    Not worth the risk imo.

    Oh and big als has some too, probably better to get from seahunter. By better I mean cheaper... i think they want like 50 bux or something crazy like that. Their cheato is 9.99

    why would grape be better at removing nutrients/? my cheato grows fast.
    also, grape caulerpra releases turpins constantly [inhibits growth apperently]
    and can crash overnight when your sleeping. why owuld you use this. I used along with others until we found these things out.
