    Rentyn's 90G Build Thread!!

    Hey Everyone,
I been a member here for a little while now but haven't posted much. I decided to share my build with all of you. Right now I'm at the point where my tank has cycled and I added the first of my coral frags. As well this is my first saltwater tank. I am also a member of Aquarium Pros which is where I spend most of my time but it looks like I found another forum that I enjoy. Many of you seem to be from Quebec. I am located in Burlington, Ontario.

nice to see someone local, set up looks great

i'm guessing from your choice of RO/DI system, ER skimmer and the little green tag on your box of IO that you already go to the ORG. out of curiosity are there any other stores around here that you would say are really good?

i look forward to seeing some pics of your first frag and some updates as your tank matures

What kind of a setup are you going for? I'm assuming you're going mostly SPS by your calcium reactor... What kind of lighting do you have? Are you looking into any type of an aquarium controller for all your goodies?

A4Twenty- So far the only stores I have gone to are ORG, Big Als Oakville, Reef RAft. Since Big ALs has a lowest price guarantee what I do is find the lowest price online. Print off page then take to BA and they match it.

Shipwreck- The water storage container I got from Oakville Reef Gallery. I think it was around $80.

Porcipinepuffer- I will have a mixed reef. Some SPS, alot of LPS and softies. As for the aquarium controller. ORG just got the new Profilux II Plus controller, and with the new price for it of $499. It can't be beat in my opinion.

If there are any fellow reefers from Burlington/Oakville I would like to get together and "talk shop".

Here are some more pics. My stand and canopy didn't match so I had to stain the canopy. Also I just got this new diamond tank for quarantine.

    Cheers, MIke

they actually match online prices?? wow, how'd i miss that. could save a lot of cash on equipment but i still think i would rather by my livestock across the road.

you did a great job on the canopy, i can barely see a difference :b16:

Nice... I thought they only matched local fish store pricing and even with that it was like pulling teeth.
