Updated pics.. the pile should be gone this weekend. I will have to remember to wear safety glasses when I use the dremel this time!
Ended up with rock in eye when I was carving some jade :P
I really need to paint the back of that tank as well as my FW one!

too bad we didnt' meet. I could have shown you a HUGE pile of rock, much more porus, on the side of the island you stayed at. I grabbed about 200 pounds of this type of rock. Then could have taken you to get some free turbo snails. Smith cove, I get turbo snails and flounders there. Nothing like having a flounder in your tank. Bet NO ONE has a flounder in thier tank...except me 8)

    He's got nice color too!

I don't think you can export the snails but if we lived there it wouldn't be exporting would it?

so did you dig in to it??

i found a few nice pieces down in my LR well that i didn't know i had so i have been playing with my LR lately too. the pieces were stark white like yours but already have some coralline growth on them after 2 - 3 weeks in the tank.

I haven't started the rock work yet. I have to get a bit for either the dremel or drill, the rods and epoxy..
I know I need a masonry bit but am unsure of what type of epoxy and rods to use. Can anyone suggest something I would be able to find at Home Hardware or Canadian Tire?
