    My 45gal cube

    Here is a pic of my 45 gallon Acrylic cube thats 3 months old now. I lost all my pics so I will take some new ones tomorrow and add them here and also give you more info on the setup

    Sump; 20 gallon long, Fuge & DSB, Box type Protein Skimmer with Quiet One 3000, 2- Quiet One 3000 return pumps, 2- LifeTech 1100L/h Powerheads, 1- Koralia 1.
    Lighting; 6 T5 Ho 24 watts, 10 hour light cycle with Actinics on 12 hours, 2- blue LED moon lights.

    i love the aquascaping, are some of those pieces DIY rock? ( the ones in the middle with the round hole ) looks like a great set up, i have always loved the cube.

    Yes there are 3 caves that I made on the bottom. after just 3 months they already have nice growth on them. check back for more pics later. I too love the cube.

    the pic of the LTA was taken a while ago and he was under 250 watt Halide in an 18" deep tank. Pretty sure he doesnt need more light than that. He is a light green tip hard to see in bad pic.



    Rock- Yes I made the caves myself, the rest is Fiji/ Haitian, I plan on adding more as I go. Its still a young tank so slow and steady we go. Having a lot of fun with it.

    the only reason i say he looks to need more light is he is very white and looks translucent. this anemone ( and the rest that host clowns ) are photosynthetic and host zooxanthellae algae ( same as corals and clams ). zooxanthellae algae is brown in colour and a white anemone is a sign that for some reason he has lost his zoox, often referred to as "bleached".

    hopefully it is just the pic, they can be deceiving.
