Clown + clown = clown eggs

Well it looks like after about a year and a half being together, my clowns are now officially a mated pair (even though the tank moved just over 6 months ago!). They have laid their eggs in a really great spot that allows us to see everything. I will try to take some decent pics tonight.

This means that finally... my tanks parameters are getting under control YIPPIE!!!

Hmmm I would guess around 50 or more. They all look fertile too which is good . I know they will all end up as fish food, but thats just fine with me.

What kind of clowns are they, Dazz? I've got a pair of tomatos that have laid in the past. I moved them into their new tank and they are going through the motions but no eggs yet. I'm going to see Ivan at the end of the month for a nano disk and some rotifers to see if I can raise some babies.

That's GREAT and it neat too isn't it? My clowns still produce ever increasing numbers of eggs about every 2 weeks.

Do they ever hatch or just end up as fish food?

    Cheers
