Yes NPS does stand for Non-Photosynthetic

The lights are for my viewing pleasure, I like the look of Fiji Purple and Actinic. My lights are over 20+ inches from the tank.

looks like you have great flow, any problems with blowing sand in such a shallow tank??

i love the aquascaping, looks great to have the rock almost all the way to the surface but not have to look at a 2' pile underneath.

make sure to keep a close eye on your parameters, the tank looks very young.

how about pic of the sump / equipment :b16:

No issue with blowing sand, only when tank was filling up and the pumps turned on.

Thanks. I had lots of time to create the scape, and I wanted it to be three islands

The tank has been running for about one month and I have done approximately 5 water changes ranging from 5%-70%. I just have a small bloom of diatom, but from what I have heard that is normal and naatural. I need to keep testing for sure.

Here is my album of the setup. I hope this works...lol
